Dear APROPOS fans,

We have been producing this magazine for many, many years now. With every new issue, we strive to improve a little further, offering you not only fashion and beautiful things but also an insight into other areas that bring us joy. In short, everything that makes the APROPOS aesthetic so special. Art, interior design and culture. This season, we’re taking a journey into the world of music. The venerable Deutsche Oper Berlin opened its doors to showcase the Autumn/Winter 2026 collections. Photographer Jonathan LLense captured the collections against the backdrop of the opera house’s iconic architecture – a masterpiece of post-war modernism with clean lines, monumental spaces and striking lighting. Under the direction of the new artistic director, Dr Aviel Cahn, the opera house blends cultural tradition with the contemporary spirit, thereby creating the perfect stage for the new season.

We are also paying special attention to Joseph Altuzarra, whose brand, ALTUZARRA, has stood for refined sensuality and modern elegance for years. His designs combine precision with emotion, lending a timeless wardrobe a remarkable sense of contemporary relevance. Equally exciting is the new chapter with CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN. With our largest-ever selection of collections in Cologne, Düsseldorf and Hamburg, as well as our exclusive Louboutin boutique in Berlin, we invite you to rediscover the world of the famous red soles.

Join us in discovering the timeless appeal of the iconic ‘La Pigalle’ classics and experience the unmistakable elegance that has made the Maison a legend.

There’s also something extraordinary to report from Lake Tegernsee: from 3 August, part of our store in Rottach-Egern will be transformed into a unique pop-up that combines alpine charm with an international sense of luxury. Whether it’s St. Moritz, New York, Dallas or Notting Hill in London – ANNINA’s neo-romantic dirndls are made for grand appearances far beyond the Wiesn. Equally special are the handcrafted knitwear creations by MICHAELA BUERGER, whose floral appliqués bear witness to poetic craftsmanship. The special collection is complemented by sculptural design objects from STUDIO VAN DER ZEE. In his new adopted home of Tyrol, the Dutch wood artist creates extraordinary side tables, stools and chairs that blend functionality with art. All three labels have developed exclusive designs specifically for the pop-up, which will be available exclusively at APROPOS. Another highlight awaits you at Lake Tegernsee with jewellery designer ELIZA WEISS. As well as charming bracelets featuring Oktoberfest charms, she will be personally crafting exclusive permanent bracelets in-store on 21 and 22 August – as a memento of special moments and shared bonds.
