That’s exactly what inspired us in spring 2021 when we decided to expand our Cologne flagship: adding a separate boutique dedicated entirely to shoes — plus a cozy café with its own direct access to the APROPOS garden. Our shoe department has now moved into its very own space on Mittelstraße. Just two doors down from our signature pink entrance, you’ll find what we like to call a true “Shoe Heaven” — the kind of space only a Carrie Bradshaw dream could create. Step inside, and over 300 square metres of thoughtfully curated footwear await: from sky-high heels and elegant flats to stylish boots and trend-setting sneakers. Whether you’re searching for timeless classics or the latest designer pieces, you’ll find them here. More than just a store, this is a full brand experience — a place to immerse yourself in the world of luxury fashion, discovering beloved names like Dior, Prada, Miu Miu, Saint Laurent, Christian Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik, Bottega Veneta and more. And we continue to expand our selection with fresh high-end arrivals, bringing in exciting labels like Gianvito Rossi and Moon Boot to complement our existing range. One third of the new store space is dedicated to a new café called Lacey’s Pâtisserie. The café presents itself in a modern concept with a French ambient and has a small outside terrace in the APROPOS garden. Along specialties from Maison Ladurée the menu will include a fine selection of breakfast and lunch options. About the motif behind the new shoe store, the managing directors Klaus Ritzenhöfer, Daniel Riedo and Henning Korb state the following: “With the new opening and extension of our flagship store in Cologne, we wanted to set a positive sign in a year like this. We would like to offer our customer a true experience – APROPOS The Concept SPACE, much more than just a store. The extension complets our store in Cologne and the Mittelstraße as a shopping destionation.”
